زمینه و هدف: مرگ امری طبیعی است، انسان با توجه به داشتن سودای جاودانه ماندن همیشه با پدیده اضطراب از مرگ رو به رو می باشد. عوامل مختلفی بر اضطراب از مرگ می توانند تاثیرگذار باشند. هدف از مطالعه حاضر بررسی ارتباط بین هوش معنوی و اضطراب مرگ در کارکنان امدادی استان قزوین در سال 1396 می باشد.
روش بررسی: مطالعه حاضر از نوع توصیفی مقطعی می باشد که بر روی 211 نفر از کارکنان امدادی استان قزوین در سال 1396 انجام گرفت. در این مطالعه 100 نفر آتشنشان، 68 نفر فوریت پزشکی و 43 نفر از هلال احمر شرکت داشتند. ابزار جمع آوری داده ها شامل پرسشنامه های دموگرافیک، هوش معنوی کینگ و اضطراب مرگ کالت لستر بودند. داده هاي جمع آوري شده به صورت جداول توزيع فراواني، تعداد و درصد تنظیم شد. برای بررسی رابطه بین اضطراب مرگ و هوش معنوی از ضریب همبستگی پیرسون و مدل رگرسیون خطی استفاده شد. کلیه اطلاعات واحد های مورد پژوهش با استفاده از نرم افزار آماری 23 SPSS مورد تجزیه و تحلیل آماری قرار گرفت.
یافته ها: یافته ها نشان داد که میانگین کل اضطراب مرگ در گروه آتشنشانان 1/116، گروه هلال احمر 3/100 و گروه فوریت پزشکی 6/94 بودند. گروه آتشنشانان به طور معنی داری نسبت به دیگر گروه ها از اضطراب مرگ بالاتری برخوردار بود، در صورتی که گروه فوریت های پزشکی از کمترین اضطراب مرگ برخوردار بودند (001/0>P، 26/23=F). میانگین کل هوش معنوی در گروه فوریت پزشکی 5/53، گروه هلال احمر 1/53 و در گروه آتشنشانان 5/38 بودند. گروه های فوریت پزشکی و هلال احمر از هوش معنوی بیشتری نسبت به گروه آتشنشانان برخوردار بودند، که این اختلاف معنی دار بود (001/0>P، 46/22=F). ارتباط همبستگی بین هوش معنوی و اضطراب مرگ به طور معنی داری در مطالعه حاضر مشاهده شد (001/0>P).
نتیجه گیری: مطالعه حاضر نشان داد که آن گروهی که از نمره کل هوش معنوی بالاتری برخوردار بود، اضطراب مرگ کمتری داشت و بالعکس. بدین ترتیب در مطالعه حاضر مشاهده شد که گروه فوریت های پزشکی با بالاترین نمره کل هوش معنوی از کمترین نمره کل اضطراب مرگ برخوردار و همچنین گروه آتشنشانان با بالاترین نمره کل اضطراب مرگ از کمترین نمره کل هوش معنوی برخوردار بود.
